Locality Flinders Island, Furneaux Group, Bass Strait. About 250 metres nor'east of The Dutchman's summit. In a short, deep gully (Silver Wattle Gully).
Habitat
Supplied as "In a short, deep gully formed by the erosion of stone much softer than the surrounding granite. On a block of granite, 5 m by 3 m and rising to 3.5 m, in the lower eastern part of the gully. Eucalyptus globulus subsp. globulus, from just south of the gully, give a c. 10% cover over the site. Elaeocarpus reticulatus, in the gully, rise to 12.6 m and give a c. 40% cover. P. falcata (c. 20%) grow amongst Microsorum pustulatum on the granite block."
