Occurrence remarks Canopy vine clinging by adventitious roots. Leaves shiny above and below. Stem lenticellate. Buds purplish. All parts wreak of celery. Rare in area. This specimen has been used for Rain Forest CRC program 6.5.

Habitat Mesophyll rain forest along creek with basaltic and granitic influence. Canopy: Geissois, Sloanea australis, Syzygium sayeri, Caldcluvia, Opisthiolepis, Endiandra monothyra, Ficus variegata & Elaeocarpus garndis. Small trees\shrubs: Syzygium xerampelinum, Rockinghamia, Saurauia, Ficus congesta, Ardisia, Symplocos paucistaminea, Pilidostigma & Atractocarpus. Liothophytes very common. Calamus, Oraniopsis, Pandanus, Angiopteris & Christella conspicuous.
