Field notes Small patch scattered near fence - spread about 10m. Erect shrubs to 1.7m tall forming lateral branches with erect ones arising from these +/- candelabra like. Stems deep green, shiny; spines white, 1-3 larger ones and 3-4 smaller ones, spreading and deflexed. Two fruits observed green as for stem, obovoid. Seed not developing.
