Occurrence remarks Multi-stemmed small tree to 6m tall. Flowers cream to whitish. Leaves olive-green above, paler below. Leaves aromatic and spicy-smelling when crushed. Bark rough, brownish, somewhat fissured.

Supplied as "Steep, wet incised gully of dark-grey, very poorly-drained alluvial sandy loams derived from the Jurassic Landsborough Sandstones. Tall open forest of Eucalyptus grandis, Eucalyptus microcorys, Corymbia intermedia and Lophostemon confertus with lower tree layer of Waterhousea floribunda, Archontophoenix cunninghamii and Endiandra pubens, vines of Flagellaria indica and Gynochthodes jasminoides, ground layer of Calochlaena dubia."
