| Occurrence remarks | Stinkhorns with very strong seminal aroma. Some reaching 25 cm tall. Stipe spongy reticulate, buff-coloured. Cap bright orange with dark brown gleba and very thin orange indusium. Egg stages with white periderm, thick translucent gel and with an immature cap ranging from grey to pale orange. Mature fruiting bodies with gel remaining in volva. Dozens of fruiting bodies in mulched garden bed. Attracting flies and green ants, small isopods in bark chip at base. |
