Occurrence remarks Small shrub to 70 cm. Leaves linear with the tip slightly recurved. Flowers purple, anthers 4 with no anther appendage. Calyx becoming accrescent in fruit. Bracteoles present and about half as long as the adaxial calyx.

Supplied as "Castlereagh Scribbly Gum Woodland on sand, Canopy dominated by Eucalyptus racemosa and Angophora bakeri. Understorey open, with a low layer of shrubs consisting of Styphelia laeta, Prostanthera scutellarioides, Banksia spinulosa, Hakea lavipes, Dillwynia sp., Isopogon anemonifolius, Monotoca scoparia, and Daviesia ulicifolia. Groundlayer a mixture of sedges, small forbs and occasional grasses."
