Occurrence remarks Locally abundant (over area c.1.5 m x 1 m at this location) stoloniferous herb to 18 cm high. Central florets orange-yellow, outer florets orange. All florets strap-like with 5 teeth at tip. Stigma with 2 arms. Leaves hairy, hairs tubercle-based. Pedicel and involucral bracts with long silvery hairs and shorter black gland-tipped hairs.
