Occurrence remarks Naturalised herb to 85 cm high. Also about 60 plants naturalised alongside Lavender Bridge, next to Bellinger River, Bellingen (30 degrees 27' 01"S 152 degrees 53' 55"E, altitude 10 m). Numerous white tubers at base of plants. Stems grey-green with whitish bloom that can be rubbed off. Leaves grey-green, paler below. Inside of tepals pink to maroon at base, greenish-yellow with maroon streaks above; outside of tepals red to maroon with green tips; stamens with red filaments, anthers green. Name Alstroemeria pulchella L.f. has been misapplied to this taxon in Australia
