Occurrence remarks Fruits enclosed in succulent greenish perianth (not as succulent as in M. rhyticarya). Big patch sprawling in cleft between two tall outcrops - ?several plants but hard to tell because very tangled branches (and it was raining hard). With Trema aspera and Curcuma australasica.
