Occurrence remarks This plant was observed to be growing very strongly in several crops of wheat, oats and pastures east of Berrigan, and appeared to be more firmly established on the lighter soil types than in the depression soils. During the early stages of ots growth patches of it practically smothered out the oats and wheat and competed strongly against sub-clover, Ball clover and Wimmera rye.
