Occurrence remarks Locally frequent to abundant (>1000 plants on edge of Katoomba Park and over vacant house block, collected from numerous plants growing in a triangular area with edges 5 m x 3 m x 6 m) herb with inflorescences to 30 cm high. Plants growing from a bulb, outer surface brown and fibrous, many bulb sections (bulbils) inside. Leaves 3-foliate, one (rarely 2) per plant. Leaflets V-shaped, glabrous dorsally, scattered spreading white hairs on margins and ventral veins;. petioles to 25.5 cm long (often much shorter) yellow-green to green, pink and/or white towards base, with scattered white spreading hairs; petiolules c. 0.7 mm long, jointed, darker than leaflets and with occasional hairs. Inflorescence with 7–10 flowers, usually only 2 open. Open flowers held erect, unopened buds hanging down. Sepals 5, narrow triangular, green with hyaline margins and with scattered white hairs and paired orange glands towards the tip. Petals white to pale pink above, base pale green with numerous green veins; stamens 10, 5 short and 5 long, filaments white, filaments of longer stamens are densely short hairy, anthers yellow; stigmas 5 and green.
