Occurrence remarks Spreading tree to 6 m in height. Mass flowering of this species in this area at this time. Flowers being produced while pods of previous reproduction event retained. The red-purple colour of the stamen and the yellow of the pollen contrast in the field with the dull red of the petals of the flowers. Also collected to silica gel.
