Habitat Grassy eucalypt forest on deep pale soils derived from granite. Canopy: Lophostemon suaveolens, Eucalyptus siderophloia, Corymbia intermedia, Euc. tereticornis and Acacia disparrima. Small trees & shrbus: Melaleuca salicina, Acacia leiocalyx, Leucopogon juniperinus, Tabernaemontana, Ochna and rainforest saplings. Tussock grasses conspicuous; many weeds esp. Asparagus spp., Lantana & Senna pendula.
