Field notes Small white sheets with shelving edges (projecting laterally well beyond the substrate) to 35 mm long x 10 mm diameter, in some cases forming bracket-like structures, resembling in growth-form Byssomerulius corium. Pure white, one surface woolly tomentose, the other surface with irregular lumps and bulges.
Occurrence remarks Mostly growing on the stems of dead plants, but some also on living plants, and in the lower quarter of stems. Many plants in this colony are infected with the fungus. Also some growing on the ground next to Dawsonia plants.
