Event remarks | Uncommon annual herbs to 30(45)cm tall on generally treeless plain on grey (silty) cracking clays dominated by Dichanthium sericeum subsp. sericeum, subdominants include Iseilema vaginiflorum, Paspalidium jubiflorum, Astrebla pectinata, Panicum effusum, Malvastrum americanum, Cyperus gilesii, Rhynchosia minima var. minima, Desmodium campylocaulon, Ipomoea polymorpha, Ipomoea lonchophylla, Commelina, and Sclerolaena glabra. There are the odd scattered emergent Eucalyptus coolabah and Acacia victoriae to 5m tall appearing on the flats. |
