Organism remarks	Large leathery funnel-shaped basidiomes occuring on wood. Basidiomes leathery, often confluent, pileate. Pileus: 60-120mm broad; deeply infundibuliform, surface with zonate cottony bands; irregularly furrowed-corrugated, cottony over disk; watersoaked; ochraceous (5B7, 5C7, 6C7); margin irregular, appearing as if torn; context thin, leathery; white. Hymenium: smooth - telephoroid; furrowed longitudinally, pale ivory (4A2-3); continuing partly onto stipe. Stipe: short-clavate; spongy, surface densely cottony - tomentose; ochraceous above (6C7), tan below (4B5, 5B4). Attached to wood. Spore print: white Macrochemical Tests: 15% KOH: negative Mode of Life: saprophytic Odour: none Taste: none.
