Event remarks Uncommon in area. Mesophyll rainforest on spewy clay soil derived from metasediments. Very damaged by Cyclone Larry. Canopy: Carnarvonia, Gillbeea, Musgravea, Polyalthia patinata, Endiandra montana and Flindersia pimenteliana. Small trees and shrubs: Brombya, Medicosma, Solanum magnifolium and Macaranga subdentata. Much regeneration of pioneer species and vine regrowth.
