Occurrence remarks | Plants infrequent at site (20-30 in lawns, garden and some pot plants). Not known to be elsewhere on property aside from this location. Possibly introduced via pot plants bought in (or unlikely in mulch). Plants have weak white taproots, and fleshy mid green leaves, leaves are rosetted and 5-10 cm high. Inflorescences 5-20 cm high. Pods 1-2 cm long, green turning to brown when ripe. Small brown, cylindrical seeds half a mm wide to slightly longer?. Small white, 4-petalled flowers with petals slightly longer than wide (ca. 1 mm wide). One single green stamen in each flower. South western garden next to residence, frequently shaded in winter. Disturbed by weeding and mulch application once or twice a year. A well watered and damp spot. |
