Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 5.070 km at 105.75 degrees from Phils Hill's summit. At the head of a short dry gully ending at a mapped eastern tributary of Rices RIver.
Habitat
Supplied as "Amongst granite blocks and slabs. {Eucalyptus globulus} subsp. {globulus} (to 15 m, c. 30%) were dominant, and remain so after the fire of October 2006. There is also one tillering sapling {Eucalytpus ambigua} or {Eucalyptus viminalis}. {Pomaderris apetala} (to 5.4 m, c. 80%), and a {Notelaea ligustrina} (many-stemmed, to 3.9 m). were the understorey. Now: {Phyllanthus gunnii} (to 2.1 m, main), {Cassinia aculeata} (to 2.4 m), the {N. ligustrina} (tillering), {P. apetala} (45 cm to 1.05 m; to become the dominant understorey species), {Olearia stellulata} (one), {Correa reflexa} (one), {Lasiopetalum macrophyllum} (one) and {Acacia mucronata} (two, to 1.35 m). Also {Derwentia derwentiana} (seven, to 1.35 m), {Euchiton collinus} (main low herb), {Wahlenbergia gracilis}, {Hydrocotyle hirta}, {Galium australe}, {Lagenophora stipitata}, {Senecio linearifolius} and {Gonocarpus teucrioides} (one)."
