Occurrence remarks Herb to 30 cm high. Roots pale brown. Leaves dark green, paler with age, lower surface pale green, both surfaces with numerous white hairs. Scape dark green, brown when dead and remaining attached to plant for some time after death. Liqule short and pale purple. Cypselas green to brown. Silica gel material at NE. Digital images with John Hosking. Locally common (3 in initial collection area and c. 40 plants c. 30 m E of this area in a similar habitat, 100s elsewhere on this slope).

Supplied as "Landform: c. 30 degrees S facing slope at the original collection site, other plants collected on a 20-40 degrees S facing slope. Parent material: greywacke. Soil: red brown stony loam. Vegetation: shrubby {Eucalyptus albens} woodland with grasses and herbs, growing with {Notelaea microcarpa} var. {microcarpa, Ligustrum lucidum, Olea europaea} subsp. {cuspidata, Bursaria spinosa} subsp. {spinosa, Pandorea pandorana} subsp. {pandorana, Glycine} sp., {Desmodium varians, Poa labillardieri, Arthropodium} sp. B, Cheilanthes sieberi} subsp. {sieberi, Rostellularia adscendens} subsp. {adscendens, Wahlenbergia} sp. and {Crassula sieberiana}."
