Habitat Volcanic Plain. Occurring in open woodland of Eucalyptus melliodora, with occasional E. camaldulensis and scattered Acacia implexa, Bursaria spinosa etc., and a ground cover of Themeda triandra, Danthonia spp. and other grasses and herbs, both native and introduced. Gentle slopes. Silurian formation.
