Occurrence remarks Geophyte with flowers to 18 cm high. Leaves and stems mid green. Up to 3 flowers per plant. Flowers all have 6 tepals and are male or bisexual, in some cases both on the same plant. Tepals have two glands, one on each side of the tepal, these are usually white (at this time), but in some cases are pink. Male flowers have 6 anthers with white filaments and brown to yellow anthers. Bisexual flowers have similar stamens and a 3-lobed purple ovary with each lobe having a white stigma that is purple towards the base
