Habitat Top of ridge and adjacent upper slope. Lateritic pebbles in sandy soil over sandstone. Growing in heath with Restionaceae, Anisopogon avenaceus, Amphipogon strictus and also near Eucalyptus mallees (3 spp.), Banksia serrata, Angophora hispida, Persoonia and Xanthorrhoea. Recovering from fire (Jan 1994).
