Occurrence remarks Rhizomatous herb to 20 cm high. Crushed plants smell of mint. Stems 4-angled. Leaves mid green, opposite, hairs erect and obvious on lower surface. Flowers in small groups in upper leaf axils. Calyx green with 5 lobes at apex. Corolla pale mauve with short tube and 4 spreading lobes at apex. Stamens 4, filaments pale mauve, anthers white. Style pale mauve, exserted with two arms
