Occurrence remarks | Bracts dark red-brown. Tepal tube dark red; lobes dark red abaxially, pinky red adaxially.Outer whorl of tepals same texture and colour throughout (+/- fleshy), with hooded, thick, blunt apex. Inner whorl with abaxial 'midrib' (not reaching apex) same colour & texture as outer whorl, but with broad margins of paler colour (pink - same as adaxial colour) & fleshy texture. |

Supplied as "Low woodland (regrowth) on sandy soil with some clay. Leaves spreading, yellow-green, shining adaxially, dullish abaxially. Tepals spreading - outer whorl more or less horizontal, V-shaped in section; inner whorl spreading less, more or less flat, with tiny hooded apex. All mature tepals recurved." |
