Occurrence remarks No flowers. Notes on live material by R.J. Chinnock: stems brittle, easily fragmenting into small segments. Stems glaucous grey green. Immature fruit 22 mm long, 18 mm broad at apex. Spines sheaths stramineous to light brown.
