Event remarks Associated with Alternanthera ficoidea, Diplocyclos palmatus, Macroptilium atropurpureum, Crotalaria zanzibarica, Sesbania cannabina and Macaranga tanarius (saplings). Dense sward c. 10-20m2, has recently appeared in a culvert between Captain Cook Highway and general aviation facilities. Ligule absent or barely discernible band of pale cilia. Spikelets pale green, shortly awned; maturing chaffy brown.
