Occurrence remarks Low open woodland of Eucalyptus microtheca and Excoecaria parvifolia in a flooded depression on a clay plain. Associated species: Sesbania cannabina, Cyperus exaltatus, Cyperus iria, Echinochloa turneriana and E. colona. Erect woody forb to 2.5m in height with mauve flowers. This species is common at this location.
