Locality Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 4.615 km at 83.75 degrees from Double Peak's summit. In the recently-bared south-eastern edge of a mapped swamp of c. 60 m by up to 30 m. It is c. 60 cm out from the waters edge.
Habitat
Supplied as "The site had, when burnt in October 2006, {Melaleuca gibbosa} (main) and {Melaleuca squarrosa} (minor). The {M. gibbosa} are 75 cm high; they were 1.5 m high when burnt. The site now carries {Leptocarpus tenax} over tillering {M. gibbosa} and tillering {M. squarrosa}, plus five seedlings of {Leptospermum scoparium}. Also {Deyeuxia quadriseta} (8) and {Tetrarrhenia distichophylla}."
