Occurrence remarks Small tree c. 4-5m tall. Bark grey, fibrous, slightly tessellated, dirty red-brown beneath surface. Leaves discolourous, glossy above. Youngest stems and petioles reddish-brown. Buds scurfy, glaucous grey-green. Old capsules urn-shaped, 15-20mm long.
