Occurrence remarks	Herb to 10 cm high. Plants with tuberous brown roots radiating from base of the crown. Leaves in a rosette, upper surface dark green with scattered short segmented clear hairs, lower surface white hairy with dense covering of white felt-like simple hairs and longer segmented clear hairs. Peduncles and involudral bracts with segmented clear hairs and white felt-like simple hairs. Flower heads surround by calyx with hairs as on peduncle. Ray florets, yellow above, pale yellow below, ligulate, 3-lobed at apex. Disc florets yellow, tubular, with 5 lobes
