Occurrence remarks Herb to 12 cm high. Stems succulent greenish brown. Leaves succulent, pale brown, pink or purplish brown. Sepals 2. Petals 5, white; stamens 6 on flowers checked, filaments and anthers white. Seeds without any obvious surface pattern at 10x magnification but pattern visible at higher magnification. Same species as, and similar location to, J.R.Hosking 3374 collected on 11 September 2010 when only in flower. This Calandrinia is virtually only found amongst brigalow in this Reserve

Chinnock, Chenopodium desertorum (J.M.Black) J.M.Black subsp. anidophyllum (Aellen) Paul G.Wilson and Lepidium aschersonii Thell. No parent material visible. Grey clay."
