Occurrence remarks Locally abundant (many 1000s) rhizomatous sedge to 80 cm high. Leaves and culms mid green. Leaf mid-rib grooved above and raised below. A few forward-directed raised bristles on outer surface of mid-rib of involucral bracts. Heads green but maturing brown. Immature spikelets pale brown with obvious green keel. Silica gel material also collected.
