Disposition in collection
Occurrence remarks Track bordered to south and north by extensive African Olive infestation underneath Cumberland Plain Woodland canopy. High soil moisture. Trees of Eucalyptus tereticornis and E. moluccana. Extensive weed invasion of African Olive, Ligustrum lucidum, Phytolacca octandra adjoining. Where Ajuga australis is growing, the vegetation was more open with better quality groundlayer and less shrublayer. Ehrharta erecta prevalent. Native species also prevalent including Cyperus gracilis, Oplismenus imbecillis, Microlaena stipoides, Sigesbeckia orientalis. Ajuga australis – spread over 30 x 8 metres, at least 200 plants. Most not-flowering. Not seen elsewhere onsite during survey (which covered all of site) 6 collections were made numbered 001 to 006. Plants were generally collected over a 30 m x 8 m wide strip – on what is likely a previous access track along a fenceline/site boundary on a Cumberland Plain Woodland site. 2 to 3 plants, generally located next to each other, were collected at each location.
