Habitat
Supplied as "Kanjenjie Creek. Had a well defined channel and floodplains. Soil: Floodplain: Light brown clayey loam. Bed: bare pebbly, gravelly sand. Some cobbles. Had a temporary pool. Eucalyptus camaldulensis var. obtusa and Eucalyptus victrix woodland over Acacia ancistrocarpa, Acacia tumida and Gossypium robinsonii shrubland over Themeda triandra, Bothriochloa bladhii and Chrysopogon fallax tussock grassland. Eucalyptus camaldulensis var. obtusa 12-16 m 15-20%; Eucalyptus victrix 10-12 m 5-10%; Themeda triandra 1m > 40%; Chrysopogon fallax 50 cm 10%; Bothriochloa bladhii 70 cm 15%; Acacia ancistrocarpa 1-2 m = 5%; Gossypium robinsonii 1-1.7 m < 2%; Acacia tumida 1-2 m (20) = 5%. Large grassy patches with Themeda triandra to 90% cover, these had a strip of shrubs (Acacia ancistrocarpa, Gossypium robinsonii) at the outer edge. Some large patches of Bothriochloa bladhii. Some patches Acacia tumida extend onto floodplain from the outer edge of the creek. One patch of Eriachne tenuiculmis on the floodplain, but scoured area. Some Triodia pungens at the outer edge in the shrub band. The Marsilea hirsuta and Eragrostis cumingii were common. The Acacia bivenosa was in a minor flowline. The Eriachne benthamii was on the lower bank. A patch of Cynodon dactylon to 3 m across. On banks. Associated annuals: Oldenlandia galioides, Elytrophorus spicatus, Centipeda minima, Aeschynomene indica, Fimbristylis littoralis, Eragrostis exigua, Eleocharis atropurpurea, Marsilea hirsuta, Ammannia auriculata, Eragrostis tenellula, Cleome viscosa, Indigofera linifolia, Eragrostis cumingii, Malvastrum americanum, Sida spinosa, Streptoglossa bubakii, Euphorbia coghlanii, Eragrostis leptocarpa, Chloris pectinata, Alternanthera nodiflora, Rostellularia adscendens ssp. clementii, Dichanthium sericeum ssp. humilius. Associated perennials: Cassia oligophylla x helmsii, Indigofera monophylla (grey/green leaflet form), Eriachne tenuiculmis, Phyllanthus maderaspatensis var. angustifolius, Mollugo molluginis, Abutilon trudgenii (MS)., Neptunia dimorphantha, Sida fibulifera, Acacia synchronicia, Gossypium australe, Ptilotus obovatus, Carissa lanceolata, Corymbia hamersleyana, Acacia pyrifolia (slender form), Acacia farnesiana, Cyperus dactylotes, Acacia bivenosa, #Eriachne benthamii, Cynodon dactylon, Acacia bivenosa, Bothriochloa bladhii, Goodenia triodiophila, Acacia holosericea. Associated lianes: Vigna lanceolata var. lanceolata, Polymeria ambigua, Rhynchosia cf. minima."
