Occurrence remarks Spreading herb to 20 cm high (1000s scattered through area). Plants growing from a woody taproot to 3 cm wide. Leaves grey-green above, paler below. Stems and petioles papillate, reddish above otherwise green. Calyx at base of fruit green with 5 lobes that are pink at the edge. Fruit mostly in 7s in leaf axils, fruit green and separating into 2 sections each section with 2 small beaks at the apex.
