Occurrence remarks Tall shrub to small tree to 6-8 m tall. Bark greyish. Usually single-stemmed at base, with spreading branches. Flowers light-yellow, produced abundantly by many trees at this locality. Very common to dominant in this area.

Habitat
Supplied as "Undulating low rises of grey to whitish sands derived from the Gatton Sandstones. Tall open forest to tall woodland of Corymbia intermedia, Angophora leiocarpa, occasional Eucalyptus carnea and Eucalyptus interstans. Lower tree layer of Lophostemon suaveolens, with dense tall shrublayer of Acacia leiocalyx subsp. leiocalyx, Alphitonia excelsa and Petalostigma pubescens, with minor groundlayer of Entolasia stricta, Lomandra filiformis and Aristida queenslandica."
