Occurrence remarks Scandent shrub or vine climbing by branch tendrils. Fruit chestnut brown, slightly immature, leaves deep and dark green above. Crushed leaves emit a sweet aroma, like Pittosporum undulatum. Common in area. Spirit material at BRI. Co-occuring with Melodorum leichhardtii.

Supplied as "Araucarian rainforest on rhyolite along creek. Emergent Araucaria cunninghamii. Canopy of: Backhousia citriodora, Drypetes, Bosistoa, Pouteria pohlmanniana, Jagera pseudorhus and Acacia spirorbis. Small trees and shrubs include; Canthium odoratum, Melodorum Fort Hills, Strychnos psilosperma, Diospyros geminata and Millettia pinnata. Lantana abundant."
