Occurrence remarks Tree to 20 m tall; DBH c. 25 cm. Bark silvery grey, flaky. Foliage bluish-green, leaves discolourous, petioles often reddish. Young foliage and stems glaucous. Leaves mostly 3-lobed, but sometimes undivided in upper parts of plant (eg. near inflorescences). Copius milky latex flows from cut stems. Male and female flowers in terminal clusters, yellowish-green. Female flowers larger than male. Immature fruit pale green, 6-valved capsules c. 1.5 cm diameter. This species has naturalised along the banks and bed of Blackfellow Creek. Mature trees, saplings to 8 m tall and seedlings present. Reported to be scattered downstream at least as far as Bruce Highway (c. 500 m away). Trees also observed upstream of this site. ANHspirit 19264. [FAA (or unknown) liquid changed to Bang Mix 2022.]
