Occurrence remarks Tree to 8 m tall. Low tree, branched near base. Leaves glossy green, pendulous. Flowers cream coloured, produced abundantly. Young branches and upper to mid-trunk, smooth, bronze coloured. Basal stocking dark, box-like.

Habitat
Supplied as "Mid-high open woodland of Eucalyptus ochrophloia with occasional Eucalyptus coolabah. Occurs on edge of bare, circular closed depression, and sand plains of dense shrubland of Dodonaea viscosa subsp. angustissima, Eremophila sturtii. Soils are grey-red sands. [This species] common to dominant tree, fringing circular scalds."
