Field notes | Evergreen perennial. Mat-forming, stoloniferous succulent herb, with sinuous stems. Branches ascending. Leaves scattered along branches, patent, sessile, plano-convex or elliptic in cross-section, ca. 2.5-2.8mm thick at leaf mid-point, succulent, mid-green or slightly grey-green with a slight waxy bloom, often with reddish apices. Sepals mid-green, succulent, basally connate. Petals white. Filaments white, anthers maroon. Carpels white, striated pink dorsally. [Notes by V. Stajsic]. |
