Occurrence remarks Branched perennial herb to 80 cm. Ligule membranous, lacerated, to 1.6 mm. Spikelet 2.2 mm long x 0.7 mm wide. l.g. 1.15 mm long, 3-n, tinged purple; u.g. 2.2 mm long, 9-n; ting purple; lower lemma 1.6 mm long, sterile, no palea. Upper lemma and palea membranous.
