Event remarks Contains medicinal compount alantoin. Common name comfrey. Dies down with winter, forms large rosette of leaves in spring and summer and flowers only in early summer. Apparently no viable seed form, able to grow from the smallest of root cuttings. Very vigorous if given sufficient nutrient and water.
