Occurrence remarks Stoloniferous herb to 14 cm high. Roots brown. Stems pale green with long white appressed hairs. Leaves dark green with few to many long white hairs on adaxial surface, abaxial surface with white cottony hairs. Involucral bracts green to brown. Heads with 1 or 2 florets open. Florets visible were tubular with 5 spreading white lobes and yellow stigma. Cypsela pale brown, pappus white
