Field notes Prostrate, forming dense mat c. 5 cm high, 1 metre across. Inflorescence erect, calyx dull grey-purple, corolla tube mauve-violet, upper lip same but with 2 orange-tipped white bumps in middle; spur more bluish than tube. Stems and inflorescences deep red.
