Occurrence remarks | Uncommon; between 11-25 individuals (20x20 m quadrat). Dominant tree on the site. 8-14 m, (poss. stunted due to habitat), bark persistent on trunk & larger branches (typically grey, fibrous), smooth above, generally white or grey, shedding in long ribbons. Leaves dull, concolorous. Ref. No. COBB0099.01. Native Vegetation Mapping Program. |

Locality | 50 metres south of Woorut Trig (on Mount Woorut), and 800 metres west of Siding Spring Observatory, Warrumbungle National Park. |

Supplied as "E. volcanica/E. macrorhyncha woodland. With Cassinia quinquefaria, C. leucocephala subsp. A, Xanthorrhoea glauca subsp. angustifolia, Joycea pallida, Poa sp.(specimen 57), Senecio lautus subsp. dissectifolius, S. hispidulus var. disserctus, Pimelea strigosa, Stellaria media, S. pungens (specimen 63) Luzula meridionalis (specimen 58), Brachyscome multifida, Geranium solanderi, Crassula sieberiana, Asplenium flabellifolium, Rhodanthe anthemoides, Hypochaeris radicata, Lomandra longifolia, Sonchus asper subsp. glaucescens, Ranunculus lappaceus (specimen 61), Microseris lanceolata, Bulbine semibarbata, Euchiton sphaericus, Aira cupaniana, Daucus glochidiatus form F, Rumex brownii, Oxalis perennans, Cheilanthes sieberi & Dichondra repens. Upperslope of a hillslope within a mountain landform. In silt loam (skeletal) with a basalt substrate. Site in excellent condition due to high diversity of taxa. Steep site: 40° & large boulders/surface rock was dominant ground cover at 55%." |
