Locality On southern end of Merri Merriwa Range, c. 2.5 km SW of Merri Rd intersection with Yathong - Coombie Rd, Yathong Nature Reserve.
Habitat
Supplied as "Rocky ridgeline, on gentle NE slope, near crest of rise. Scattered with stones and exposed larger rocks (sedimentary SS and a coarse grained volcanic ?granite). Brown loamy soil. Dense Acacia curranii shrubland with scattered clumps of mallee Eucalyptus morrisii, E. gracilis, and some Melaleuca uncinata on edges of this almost pure stand of Curly Bark Wattle. No low shrub layer. Rich ground layer of herbs, eg. Hypochaeris, Goodenia, Oxalis, Gonocarpus, daisies, Cheilanthes, orchids in flower eg. Caladenia fusca, Pterostylis mutica, P. nana, P. rufa group, Diuris sp. Site heavily grazed by goats."
