Occurrence remarks Gregarious. Cap 1.5-5mm diameter, palest pink-buff, convex to parabolic, dimpled, with tiny orange papilla, sulcate-striate, margin scalloped. Gills distant 8-10, occasional lamellula, adnate to a collar, white, no coloured edge. Stipe thin wiry, 30-40 x <0.5mm, black base, pale upper end, insititious insertion into leaf surfaces. Spores inamyloid, smooth, clavate, average 16.5 x 4μm, Qav = 3.91; range 15.5-17.5 x 4-4.5μm, Qmin = 3.48, Qmax = 4.29 (20 spores). Pileipellis is a hymeniderm of Rotalis type broom cells, 9.5-16 x 5.5-8.5μm, with crowded nodulose projections, some thick-walled, 2-4 x 1-1.5μm. Cheilocystidia Rotalis type broom cells, cylindrical to clavate, 15.5-25.5 x 7.5-11μm, with sparse to common nodulose projections, 1.5-3 x 1-2μm; pleurocystidia absent; basidia 4-spored
