Occurrence remarks Localised, 6 plants observed over c. 10 m on edge of cutting and just above only. Not seen in adjacent vegetation which isn't periodically slashed. Procumbent shrub, 50 cm wide, 20 cm tall. Flowers yellow, mostly closed and finished.

Ridgeline, dry sclerophyll forest / open woodland of Eucalyptus sparsifolia, Corymbia gummifera, C. eximia, E. sclerophylla, with shrub understorey dominated by Leptospermum trinervium, Lambertia formosa, Grevillea phylicoides; also with L. parvifolium, Philotheca hispidula, Kunzea ambigua, Bossiaea rhombifolia, Platysace linearifolia, Entolasia stricta, Anisopogon avenaceus, Lomandra obliqua, Dianella caerulea. Yellow-grey sandy soil with laterite/ironstone gravel on surface, over sandstone."
