Field notes Leaf sheath 46cm long, blade above sheath 184cm, total 230cm long; leaf at sheath 12mm across (20mm when sheath flattened out), the sheaths each 3-4mm wide, not overlapping. Sheaths just below apex only 1.5-2mm wide leaving c. 8mm of the blade width exposed. Culms mostly rotted and brown, with only pedicels left on the raceme. One raceme still with some green, ripe fruit attached, remainder already fallen. All culms fully submerged. Leaves trailing, highly undulating to fully spiralled in places; linear, tips tapered

Occurrence remarks and narrowly obtuse. Seedlings also collected in spirit, together with the fruit husks they grew from. There are two spirit jars with this collection.
